چکیده
In this paper, we report on the hard X-ray observation of pulsar 1E 1145.1-6141 performed with Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array mission (NuSTAR). A BeppoSAX observation of the X-ray pulsar 1E 2259+586 and the supernova remnant G109.1−1.0 (CTB109)
The 7 s X-ray pulsar 1E 2259+586 and the supernova remnant (SNR) G109.1−1.0 (CTB109) were observed by BeppoSAX in 1996 November. The pulse period of 6.978914± 0.000006 s implies that 1E 2259+586 continues its near constant spin-down trend. The 0.5–10 keV pulse shape is characterized by a double peaked profile, with the amplitude of the second peak ∼50% of that of the main peak. The pulse profil...
متن کاملOptical/infrared Observations of the Anomalous X-ray Pulsar 1e 1048.1−5937 during Its 2007 X-ray Flare
We report on optical and infrared observations of the anomalous X-ray pulsar (AXP) 1E 1048.1−5937, made during its ongoing X-ray flare which started in 2007 March. We detected the source in the optical I and near-infraredKs bands in two ground-based observations and obtained deep flux upper limits from four observations, including one with the Spitzer Space Telescope at 4.5 and 8.0 μm. The dete...
متن کاملThe Near-infrared Counterpart to the Anomalous X-ray Pulsar 1e 1048.1−5937
We report our discovery of the likely near-infrared counterpart to the anomalous X-ray pulsar (AXP) 1E 1048.1−5937, using observations from the 6.5 m Baade (Magellan I) telescope in Chile. We derived a precise position for the X-ray source using archival data from the Chandra X-Ray Observatory. Since this position is inconsistent with a position reported earlier from XMM-Newton, we conservative...
متن کاملA deep search for the optical counterpart to the anomalous X-ray pulsar 1E 2259+58.6
We present Keck R and I band images of the field of the anomalous X-ray pulsar 1E 2259+58.6. We derive an improved X-ray position from archival ROSAT HRI observations by correcting for systematic (boresight) errors. Within the corresponding error circle, no object is found on the Keck images, down to limiting magnitudes R = 25.7 and I = 24.3. We discuss the constraints imposed by these limits, ...
متن کاملAnomalous X-ray Pulsar 1E 1048.1–5937: Pulsed Flux Flares and Large Torque Variations
We report on continued monitoring of the Anomalous X-ray pulsar (AXP) 1E 1048.1–5937 using the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer. We confirm that this pulsar has exhibited significant pulsed flux variability. The principal features of this variability are two pulsed X-ray flares. Both flares lasted several months and had well-resolved few-week–long rises. The long rise times of the flares are a pheno...
